Families over Rivalry
The Family Athliad Council (FAC) is a global organization that reimagines multi-sport competitions through a family-centered, unnational, and sustainability-driven approach.
We celebrate the joy of participation over the pursuit of extreme limits, and we honor families, not countries, as the core units of our events.

our guiding principles
01
Family-oriented
The FAC shall aggregate the scores of 'family events' and 'individual events' in the competitions.
* In the aggregation of scores, adjustments shall be made in accordance with the IFOC’s normative scoring system, calibrated for age and gender.
02
Unnational
The FAC shall confer awards on a family basis, not assigning national rankings, and not holding award ceremonies by country.
03
Not challenging human limits
The FAC shall not confer awards to the first and second place winners; instead, to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th place winners.
04
Process over outcome
The FAC shall collaborate with multisport federations, which exercise governance over loose biathlon, loose triathlon and historical folk dance among other new disciplines.
05
Ecologically and economically sustainable
The FAC shall be dedicated to conducting all competitions in an environment-friendly and economically minimal-burden manner.
